Water tanks

Hi. Had to change my layout of my van build, which as put me in a bit of a dilemma of where to put a water tank. Was thinking of getting one of them water bladder (water tank plastimo). As anyone used one of these? Also what size water tank would you recommend for 2 people as we want to go off grid for a while? Have a great day Cheers Troy

I don't remember welcoming you Tadau68 as you must have slipped in through the back door so welcome to the gang, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Even though I am solo I have 2x95lt fitted fresh water tanks to my van, 1 fitted front of axles and 1 to the front of that. I also have a 95lt grey water tank, fitted to the rear of the axles. All plumbing goes directly to the grey water tank. I always have plenty of water and see no reason why my set up wouldn't work for a couple. I am "off grid" for at least 8 months of a year.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

I have tandem and both fresh water are on the front side and seem to not effect tow ball weight. Grey tank is on the rear side. The axles are a little off centre to rear of van not in middle.
