hello everyone,
what brand of car tyres are good for towing a caravan. Not off road. partial to the black tar. Thanks
Hi The Rocket,
What type of vehicle first up. Size and weight of van being towed.
There are tyres. Then there are tyers.
Can you check the side wall of the tyres you have? The name and size of the tyres.
Do you have a budget in mind? Because you can buy budget tyres that just don't cut the Mustard.
Looking forward to helping where we can.
Regards Jim
G'day Strop . Coopers . They will cost a bit more . I got 120k out of front & 130k out of rear.
I am usually up on the speed limit & I am 50k out of town , so , say for a round trip 90k at a $ (100kph)
4k at 80 & 6k at 50. That's just a trip to town . The rest of my mileage is at 100/110 . My Kia is up to 170k.
ps. my van is 0nly 1200kilo , and I have done about 20k towing.
