I am writing this up as I was told, by others that it is not suitable for caravans, so for many years I gave it a miss
Warner Glen (Chapman Pool)

On the Warner Glen Road 15 Ks SE of Witchcliffe and/or 21 Ks NE of Karridale
34 05 33 S and 115 12 23 E coordinates
There is an area for buses, and large vehicles, but I would advise to walk in first to have a look, so that you do not take the wrong track
I got my motorhome into the general camping area, without any problems
I would not take a long caravan into the general camping area, due to the bendy track and trees close to the edge of the tracks
Place to launch a canoe, no signs forbidding swimming, and an overhanging platform to fish off
Generators allowed, and dogs allowed, according to the people I met who had dogs.
Drop toilets, gas BBQ, each site has their own fireplace with a swinging plate and hanger, for BBQ and billy cooking, as per most bush camps, there was no drinking water
Large rubbish skip
No telephone or laptop reception
Plenty of shade, friendly possums, and diving magpies
I was with daughter and son in law, they were burning some sort of mozzie sticks, so no mozzies on me
Free mill ends firewood stockpile, for fires
Fees as at November 2016, $10 per person, or senior fees of $6.50
The pictures show each end of our camp area, with my motorhome, and the son in law ute, tucked into the one bay

There is about 300 to 400 metres of gravel road to get in from the bitumen Warner Glen Road, (it is signpost)
I forgot to mention, if you come in from the Karridale end there are two cow crossings, which are probably used daily, as there were plenty of fresh cow patties If you have an option, then I would suggest that you come in from the Witchcliffe end
The night time camping area is about 50 metres from the pool, the day time area which is free is a bit closer to the pool, the coach or group area is about 150 metres from the pool
The water is not the Blackwood river, but a tribute which flows into the river
The ranger comes each day
In Western Australia, the honour system is an envelope where you place your money, write your name, rego, and camp number etc, twice, place the envelope in the honour box, and then keep the second part of the envelope tucked under your windscreen wiper, or on a post at your camp spot.
There is obviously not much shade in the coach, group area, which is suitable for large caravans, but elsewhere as you can see in the pictures there is plenty of shade
I would assume that it would be very cool in the summer months
I have also in the past camped at Sues Bridge # 209 in Camps 8 book Wrights Bridge # 98 in Camps 8 book
Which are both about the same as Chapman Pool, except that they are both suitable for caravans, but no animals or generators, at the two above sites
