Gresford Show Grounds

Hi folks.

Attached is a video I have put together on the Gresford Show Grounds, in the HUnter Valley. Camp fees are cheap and amenities are good.

Hope you enjoy and consider a stay there.

Thanks for that John - looks a great spot - how much per night with power and without? Is there a dump point? Good drinking water?

Jules, thanks for the reply. The prices (when I was there) were $20pn for a powered site and $15pn for unpowered. Obviously, I used the unpowered site. That price seemed to be independent of the number of people in the "site". The fella who collects the camp monies is a character. Yes, there is a dump point and the water was town water. It's a nice little spot and off the beaten track. You could overnight there or stay for a couple of days and check out the surrounding dams and scenery.

Cheers!

Vulcan (AKA John)

I stayed there early 2015. I called in for an overnight stop & ended up staying 3 nights. There was a great little butcher near the entrance, he did a lot a fancy chicken meals. From memory the road from Gresford to Dungog was pretty spectacular. Cheers Pete
