On Wednesday night We stayed over in a Powered site at Paronella Park which was included our entry fee , We were told they are building a new 50 site Caravan Park behind the Mena Creek Hotel which will be opened in early 2017 .

First visited Paronella Park in the 19050's. The original Jose Paronella was still alive then.Very interesting place. Alice

Thanks JohnR had a look at the photos , I think Paronella is great value and a must do , We also did the Mamu Skywalk 30 k up the hill also run by Paronella , If you go onto Paronella youtube and look up 2009 floods great watch .

C'mon guys - for those of us who haven't been there or heard of it previously, you have us drooling in anticipation !!

How about putting it - and all the other main features in either the CP's or "free/low cost" sections of GN - please :)

Well Paronella has a website so google it and get the fact first hand , Now why I didn't put it on free or low cost you do have to pay an entry fee to the park to get one night free powered camp site , The Mena Creek hotel about 200 mts away has free camp site if you spend in the bar or buy a meal, We stayed there one night and Paronella next night , You can buy tropical fruit from stall around the area fresh from the farm .
