Well the CMCA members have been arriving in their numbers for the past week or so despite the cold and very wet conditions in the "Nations Capital". I think they have 2 National Rallies and they certainly turn up in good numbers to support their organisation. We are currently on duty in the "Nations Capital", house sitting and doing a bit of work on the North side of town. Consequently I pass Exhibition Park on a daily basis. It is just amazing to see so many Motor Homes, Camper Vans, Caravans and 5th wheelers plus other makes and varieties gathering for what should be a great week of nomadic culture, daily happy hours, meeting new people and visiting the many attractions mostly free in the Nations Capital. Better still the biggest flower festival in this part of the Country "Floriade" is on as well the "Tulip Farm" on the Federal Highway is open until 16th October.
You have to admire such organisations and the people who are behind such successful events and can attract back on a regular basis large numbers of followers who are prepared to travel vast distances at times to reach these designated venues.
Well done CMCA.
