Batlow to Gulgong via Cootamundra

Hi folks,

Back on the road again on Monday. Just finishing a house sitting at Batlow and heading back to Gulgong to collect the van before heading to Gunnedah for another house sitting.

Our suggested route will be

Batlow- Gundagai -Cootamundra âYoung-Cowra-Canowindra- Molong Wellington - Gulgong.

Can someone please give a most recent comment on road issues along this route if any.

I have tried the livetraffic.com.au and they seem to say problems in several places.

Weather forecast now is for more raine on Monday - not toooo bright at present.

It may mean we travel via Penrith as we had to on our way here.

Thanx in advance for all your help.

Cheers, Terry

Yeah Terry . That's pretty well the way I would go.

If there is still water issues , you might go to Yass then Cowra , or Goulburn , Crookwell , Bathurst.

I am on Nth Coast , only heard of Murray & Ovens lately , have not heard or any further delays in Central West.

I imagine , somebody could add to this . Have a Safe trip.

Terry

Did that trip twice in the last 2 weeks and had no problems.

Just be careful of the road damage........large pot holes and road sections broken up.

Thank you Migra and Fringe Dweller.
No further rain today should make it a good trip.
The house owner doesn't get home till 5pm - should make it as far as Gundagai before dark.
That will make it a comfortable trip on Monday.
cheers
Terry
