Qld. State equestrian centre

Hi, just saw an ad on the grey nomads newsletter. Qld. State equestrian centre at caboolture is advertising we can stay there. They do not answer their phone. Anyone been there or know how much per night it is? Thanks

Their web site states that camping is only during equestrian events.

Power $21 per night, unpowered $16 per night.

eMail is info at qsec.com.au

Right next door to the Caboolture showgrounds which offers overnight stays. May be a bit longer not sure.

Caboolture Showgrounds is next door to the equestrian centre - there are quite a few powered sites, and also some unpowered, with a bit more room for longer rigs.

If that was the case I don't think they would waste their money advertising the Greynomads Times, as not to many greynomads would be partaking in equestrian events.

I do volunteering next door at the heritage village and duringthe equestrian events a lot of the entrants travel with with fith wheelers and and even seen semi trailer setups wih living quarters and horse accomodation there. Also if you wish to watch the events you have to purchase tickets. It is not uncommon to see 20-rigs on event days.

Cheers Jeff
