Yes, both sides were well populated when I was there just over a week ago and, like me, there were plenty of caravans and RVs heading north as well as south (but this could also be related to the school holidays). I popped in to the Kershaw Gardens camp ground while doing some shopping in Rockhampton this afternoon for a quick look-see, and it was almost full. My friends at the Visitor Information Centre in Yeppoon say the migration tide has definitely turned towards the south.

It's too hot up here for us southerners Joe.
I'm finding it hard to even go outside on hot days.

Come back to Victoria and you can have cold, wet & windy.

I know which I'd prefer and it isn't the "place to be"

I'm soaking up the sun now, Marj, after spending a couple of months stuck in Echuca where it was mostly cold and damp. I'm from Sydney so I guess I'm a half-southerner! Hope things are going well for you.

Cheers

Joe
