If you camp up for over two or three days . There's 2 or 3 options . We don't really know your living stds or what Mrs expects ., I tell you one thing . When you think you have everything sorted !! No no no .. Dead batteries is a nightmare !! Maybe exercise bike with 200 Charger ? Lol solar and batteries can be just as heavy as geni . Oh but it's bloody great when it all works !!

As I only drive autos I always have a jump starter tucked away. Never had to use it my self for years. When I did have to I replaced the batteries when  got home. Now I can use the house batteries to jump the vehicle as well. Belt and braces, and sleep soundly.

I have helped quite a few others out with a start over time. A jump starter seems like a small investment for peace of mind. It can be a mobile power source as well for all the modern stuff.wink

A few have had alternators go bad on our trip . Can only assume they have been working a little hard or shorts etc ?? I have just got myself out of trouble too . But I must say luck played there too . Yes I've thought of extra battery ? In my case motorhome . Even if enough to start geni .. 12v starting V8 diesel needs good batteries !!
