Aldi Stirling fridge freezer

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of the Aldi - Stirling Fridge Freezers - looks like a waeco. They were on sale a few weeks ago, but HWMBO wasn't too sure about them. Would love your feedback. I'm just trying to collect the things I might need for a van before I stop working.

haven't tried it yet but I just came from aldi after buying one
the best part is if I don't like it or it doesn't suit my purpose I can return it
my local store (Victoria point qld) still had 8 units

We've had ours for nearly 2 years. Excellent beer fridge and will freeze well if needed.  Has been used continuously for up to 3 months no stop. Otherwise has been used on and off for several weeks at a time. Very happy with it.

only used mine for 5 days and I was happy with its performance
I only have std cig lighter fitting and I coped with the power draw no problems I couldn't detect any excess heat in the wiring
I kept it plugged in all the time and my battery was 12.9 first up in the morning
so i think i will keep the fridge
only small problem I had it seemed to evaporate the Jim Beam
