May I be one of the first to welcome you to the forum
I notice that it is about 24 hours since you posted your question I am sure that if anyone does know of a mobile auto electrician in your area, they will come forward and let you know Perhaps the manufacturer may be able to suggest a mobile auto electrician
I have a small motorhome, Jayco Conquest, and cannot beg, borrow, buy, or steal, a wiring diagram
On the other hand, if things do go wrong, and I am unable to trace the wires, I will assume that Jayco will be able to repair/replace them, at a price
I got a sparky off Facebook, I put up a request there, He is actually a local Biker Friend,
My Problem being, there are only 7 of these RV's in OZ, The ones here have been converted by different people and companys and all look different,
My friend in the USA has the same Rig as mine, But his is different too, His is still original, But it helps me knowing what the original looks like,
I have all the wiring Diagrams, So that is not a problem, Just not many mobile Auto Lecs work on this big stuff,They take one look and go WOW and then bolt,
The wiring was a mess, I have spent many long hours cutting out the excess and dodgy wiring, and now at the state of just finishing it off, Im not a sparky, so its out of my league,
I have cut out about 100 feet of excess wiring from under the dash only, It was bits soldered together to make one wire and its all in different colours, So I had to cut out one wire at a time,
One of those wires ever broke, I would never find it the fault,
The piccy is the wire I cut out from under the dash and there is still just as many wires under there,
I also took a lot of gear out as well, Stuff that dont work in Australia, Or are oblolete, So I have a few wires that dont do anything, hanging loose,
Try getting a wiring Diagram for your MH off the Internet, They are on there, Google it, Type in Jayco Conquest Wiring Diagram, On the search bar, It will give you some thing,
Err, am I glad that I was not good enough to be an Electrician, and had to become a Fitter getting use to grease under my fingernails
I have downloaded so called Jayco wiring diagrams from the internet, and I can assure you that they are not the same as what I have, but thanks for the advice
I went to the main Jayco outlet in Western Australia, with coin in my hand They immediately tried to upload and print off a wiring diagram for me After being unable to find one, they mumbled something like We are sorry, Sir. We make so many different types of Jayco models, that we would have to make a wiring diagram for each and every one of them, so we do not have one
When people ask me about my Jayco Conquest, I casually mention that Jayco do not make a wiring diagram for it
At least now you are halfway there, as you have found an Auto Sparky to have a go for you
Pulling it out may not have helped tracing circuits ? But man you make some great bird nests ! They should be laid in seperate circuits to make tracing, fault finding easier .. What are like at fishing ? Lol
