Pesky zippers

can anyone advise, our jayco journey pop top skirt has been replaced due to broken zip. New skirt zips are really hard to slide open. Have tried silocon spray And did not work. Trying to avoid having skirt taken off again. Van is only 4 months old. Have looked in search section but not much there.

Try candle wax on them, it works for zippers on jackets etc.  May take a few times.

Hi Rainy 1850,

You must have a Jayco. We to have the same. Buy a can of Lanotect from Repco. It's a natural oil from lambs wool. ( not my Lambie though.) will work well and protect those metal zippers.

I use ArmorAll on all my zippers. Works a treat. :)
