FYI--- There is a CMCA rally in Tassie from the 13th March 2017 to 19th March inclusive, it is being held in PONTVILLE, just north of HOBART, expect to see 500 or more extra motorhomes competing for those free site from mid or late January on, it's enough for me to put off my trip till next year........

I am one of those 500. Been to a rally before in Tassie and had no problem finding free camps around the State.
