Spray mix. "oil of Cloves" and water on them.
STD Spray bottle. 8 ot 10 drops of OoC.

We live in Tropics. Found it the only thing that works on leather furniture etc
with just a wipe. No scrubbing.
and it lasts for 8 to 12 months.

Concentrate. around $10/12 a pop from Chemist.
Tiny little bottle

wipe with water cloth first.
Spray. leave till mould disappears. then wipa agai if wanted.

If thicker. just apply to cloth and wipe on. leave.
then wipe with clean water cloth.

OH and wear rubber gloves. It don't like your skin.
specially if soft female hands.

I've lived in tropics for a few yrs now.

We find that items like Dettol and Bleach don't really remove the spores.
Just camouflage them.

we get mould on walls, everywhere, in the wet.
Specially Townsville.
A quick wipe with the oil. All gone for months.

Some time ago when I researched the subject I discovered that as M17 says bleach doesn't work. It seems that the mould just forms an exterior 'skin' & when the bleach breaks down it becomes a food for the mould.

Yes, oil of cloves is the go. Worked for me too. I always carry a bottle in the van ready for quick action.

50% white vinegar / water ., leave overnight and wipe off in morning ..

Bite the bullet and buy some mould kill. That's what it does

Some times it's just dust ? Just give em a good hose ? The spores grow in the dust and fibre caught in screen .

Oil of cloves kills the mould spores.

Been down that track, ours shrunk, but we did scrub them as well.

Just a gentle wipe over with bleach.

Conflicting advice from the good Doctor who recommends Vinegar but says not bleach and then Shannon Lush says Oil of Cloves. So there you go. Take your pick ( a lot of other sites on the net say use Bleach!)

Shannon Lush's tips

ABC Local Radio's cleaning expert Shannon Lush recommends 1/4 teaspoon of oil of cloves per litre of water in a spray bottle for cleaning mould from hard surfaces. Lightly mist on, leave overnight and wipe off.

For soft items mix one kilogram of uniodised salt in a nine-litre bucket of water. Paint over the item, leave until a salt crust forms then wipe off with a soft brush.

For cleaning mould from carpet, Shannon recommends two tablespoons each of bi-carb soda, white vinegar and methylated spirits, and two teaspoons each of eucalyptus and glycerine.
