I have just returned from travelling up and down the West Coast.
At every site I stop at, I talk to at least half a dozen of the nearest campers, and just give a wave and hello, to others while picking up rubbish, as my form of holiday exercise.
As I did not see any Grey Nomad stickers, I now ask the question
"Where do the stickers, err stick it?" In other words, is there a set place where the Grey Nomad stickers are supposed to go?
When you are on the road you find out we the members of this forum are a very small group of the overall grey nomads who are on the road . Yet to find anybody on the road thats heard of this forum and been on the forum for 9 years .
Maybe they need to be larger?......Had mine on for over 3 years..my van has been to Qld, NSW,S.A. W.A. and of course all over Vic including Greens Lake with the sticker displayed on rear of van as per photo....never had acknowledgement whilst actually travelling or in C/P/Freeparks...maybe we Forum Members are mere tadpoles in a very large pond/lake of frogs? ...Hoo Roo
Similar discussion a few months ago...........it was suggested most stickers are on the back of the van which is usually parked out of view in cp. I am going to stick mine on the front ..........when I get out there
