Does my maths work out? As nappysan clones are around 33% Sodium Percarbonate, if one used 100% Sodium Percarbonate does that mean you would only use 1/3 of the amount?
If so, might work out a better "storage size" option.
Cheers John

Don't know how much exactly is required we put in two teaspoons . Initially . Then add as we go . Both nappy San or percarbonat .. The nose tells us as we walk near vent .. Lol
Absolutely - HW - sprinkle a capful, when empty, and then as needed.. Watch out though, one of the home brand ones has changed the percentage of Sod. Percarbonate down to 28% - their Boost in the purple canister is 32% and works well.
And - meetoo - 5kg is a lot to store in limited space I reckon. It's pretty cheap anyway and conveniently packed.

Good point jules.
Just asking about usage of the 100% gear.
Anyway, off topic, it's going to be one degree warmer tomorrow, and at the low temps here in SA, every bit extra is a good bonus. Come on Spring/Summer.
Cheers, John.

I imagine that a good dose of percarbonate could help with the shower, similar to perhaps carb soda. Maybe block up the outlet underneath so it could sit a while and do it's work.
Btw, just twigged to your tree picture. :)
Cheers, John.

Bruce - as metoo says - it will work I'm the shower drain, basin drain, sink drain . I have the outlet to the grey water tank closed - tip about a capful down the drain, let it sit, half hour or so later, put some water down, not too much - then empty the grey water tank. works for us - no smells and no gunk (i.e. shaving gunk, whiskers and foam, hair etc.)

We put the odd heaped teaspoon in grey water also .. Notice water in WA has a sulphur smell ? Assume there's sulpher in water ? So MAY not be as bad as you think ??

I have lived in WA for over sixty years and have not found any sulphur smell.
