New Van Nearly here

Hi all. I haven't been on here for a while as i saw it as a tease reading about other peoples adventures while we were stuck at home. After hubby and i returned home from our big loop trip we went out and ordered a brand new caravan ( did not intend to do this, purpose of our little excursion was to look at what was available in the used market ) Anyway new van was ordered in March and i have just had word we should be taking delivery of it in about 3 weeks.....YEAH i am so excited. It has been torture sitting at home and not seeing a caravan in the yard and not being able to decide on the spur of the moment that we are going away for even a few days ( i did overcome this feeling though by going to the UK for 1 month.)

Our new van is an 'ESSENTIALS' EXCEED Series 2, 19.5ft internal length ( 6ft 8in internal ceiling height....hubby wont have to duck anymore to walk under the aircon) It is fitted with electric anti sway system, reversing camera, solar panel and heaps of other good stuff.  Has anyone else on here had any dealings with this brand of van and if so any probs i should be aware of prior to picking it up

if this works i have put in a pic of the display model we looked at

Looks very nice indeedy Jackie. I'm sure you will both have many good trips in that. I too have 6'8" ceiling so know what you mean. It makes you feel well, not cramped in.

Keep safe on the roads.

Congratulations. Our van 11ft homebuilt was completed in January and my wife was so thrilled she had an arvo nap in it. We have left Albany now heading to central Vic, home. We plan to build a bigger van soon. Enjoy you travels.
