I realise it is not in Mildura but an hour and a half's drive up the highway is Balranald. The caravan park there is superb. A young couple lease it from the council and it is clean, really friendly and the town is great too. Last time I stopped there it was about $25 per night.

Thanks for that, unfortunately when we leave here we're heading to SA for a short while then back to southere Vic.

I have just sussed out a few parks here & settled on Calder Van pk, $32 per night in school holidays, which I didn't know were on, is not too bad.

Also it is very close to where we're picking up the van so, close by if I need help with anything.

Cheers Neil

Hi Neil.Apex in Mildura is big and on a large beach.Buronga is on the opposite side of the river beside the bridge and more trees etc.We like the little one on the river at Gol Gol its 3mins towards Robinvale. They are all good though .Cheers

Buronga CP on the other side of the Murray River has a deservedly great reputation. More relaxed than Mildura. smile.gif

Another vote for the Buronga CP - great spot right on the river, plenty of room, two pools, two amenities blocks - even a dog wash area, and a washing machine for their blankets et.

Another Buronga fan. If you can score a riverside site you can sit under the awning and watch the paddle boats go by. I used to be cheaper than those on the Vic side. If you can't get a good site there then Gol Gol is good.

We had a look at those suggested, Buronga looks the goods but is pretty crowded due to school hols.

We had settled on one yesterday but today looked at All Seasons Park & booked there.

Not a bad park, close to everything including the Dealer where we pick up our van tomorrow.

Thanks all for your suggestions.

Neil
