We plan to travel to the Big Red via Nappa Merrie and Arrabury would be grateful for any advice , tips, road conditions, weather updates, we will be towing just a 12 foot caravan. We have never travelled outback before so a little concerned!
That road is pretty good these days, good sections of graded red sand and mostly good sections of gravel with the occasional narrow section. Can be quiet though out of holiday periods with not a lot of traffic and a fair distance between fuel supplies. Stay away if it is wet though as the sand/clay sections will become impassable.
