We have a switch on our elect step to turn it off so it doesn't work every time you open or close when parked .  Great idea .. BUT .. Don't do what I did the other night .  Turn it OFF in the closed position when inside ! After a few JD's I stepped outside . You guessed it !! Pooff  fell or stepped about a meter  to the ground .. Ahh just great on my old hipps ! All good .. Another thing to put down to experiance !! Mrs couldn't stop laughing !!  Lol I was taking some rubbish out too !! cry A few more JD's was fine !!
