Stopped at the weighbridge east of Jondaryan. "G'day mate, ya van's swayin a bit." Walks around to back of van say's to mate. "Check this lot, cat sitting on front seat asleep, van wobbling like a weather balloon."
Turned out we had just punctured a tyre and it was deflating as we approached them causing the wobble.
This is certainly going to be fun way to spend the next few years. Staying at Bowenville Reserve. About 10 vans, heaps of room and very peaceful.

So you sure were lucky for the encounter as they possibly alerted you to a potential disaster like the B Double loaded with cattle that overturned this morning just west of you. Usual remarks about QLD TRANSPORT are negative.
Good luck
QT and the Territory blokes are normally quite good.
Attitude to Attitude is the way to go.
It'll be good when they get stuck into all us travellers.
Sort the illegal ones out, weight and size wise.
Make the roads safer for everybody then.
Far too many carry far too much, in the wrong place at times.
and often have caravans waay too big for the tow vehicle to handle safely.
Most medium size towns & city's have a public weighbridge or town dump.
Unless they busy or in a bad mood I've never found one yet that won't run you over it
and tell you or print a ticket and charge you.
Find a quiet time have a chat.
and he'll (normally) give you the axles, individual and combined weights.
If you do it b4 every trip (We do, local dump)
You know where you stand and it's easy to keep in control of it.
Our bloke did me t'other month then got me to step on and of the plate
Gave me paper with the weights on, and said You need to diet (118.4kg with boots on)
with a chuckle. Prick.
