There is a good roadside camp at the Florida Rest Area ... mid-way between Cobar and Nyngan NSW on the Barrier Hwy.

There is a long-drop toilet, no dump point and no grey water restrictions. There is no posted time limit for staying.
There are covered picnic tables and rain water tanks which were quite full at the time I was there.
This is a large fairly open area with trees that can give a bit of privacy and some shade if needed.

Even though it is between the highway and the railway line it was surprisingly quiet.
Traffic (trucks) on the highway weren't a problem. It is a coal-train line and seems to only have a train infrequently for the two days/three nights I spent there.
