Gas Refill

I know gas refills have been done to death but a quick check didn't bring this site up.

If it has been posted before sorry, if it hasn't hope it helps

This page has just been put together by Gordon and Barbara Campbell, who originally started it off on Facebook.

It's a great tool when travelling, to find the cheapest gas supplier in most areas.  They are doing all of us a great service.

a great site and have saved it - thanks Neil :)

But its not always accurate as they still have the old BCF prices showing (now $3 dearer), but I will find it useful in just locating a gas refill outlet in other areas I don't know

Thank you NeilandRaine, saved as I do get paranoid over gas bottle refil prices. BCF is my favourite but not always available.

Great idea N&R. Good to have a list of suppliers but I just checked Rays Townsville and it is not a accurate price listed. Perhaps the prices might not be updated regular. No problem, if you need gas you need gas, just knowing there is gas there is great.

Well done.

Have just left the beautiful Barossa Valley. Checked with the local Mitre 10 [Nuriootpa] who had swap n go gas. Their price for a 4kg [3.7] was $21.00. Went to the 4x4 and camping place in Tanunda Rd Nurioopta and they quoted $15 for the 4kg and $10 for the 2kg. No guesses which one I used.

The site relies on user input, if you know a price has changed (BCF) then let operator know & he'll update the listing.  No point complaining here about errors.

As I just commented to Bruce the site is like Wikicamps, it relies on user input to get current prices.  If you know a price has changed, let the operator know & he updates almost immediately.

This helps everyone.
