Auto Sat Dish

Just spent a full day repairing our auto Sat Dish .

The arm with the LNB would not stay down and as we are due to leave Albany on Monday I was stressing out big time .

So I rang Intelsat in Melboure spoke to Mandrell and Cameron and would like to recommend these two gentalmen and this company . I must have rang them fifty times and they were very patient and professional with me .

It took some doing but it now works could not have done it without their help

No ,the arms have a plastic sleeve which houses a stainless bush . The bush was seized so I had to clean the sleeve scraped of the gunk ,applied some grease and it worked . But reassembling was a challenge .

How old is your set up Aus-kiwi . Mine is 8 years old and aparantly they have changed the bushes ,but yes a little Greece would keep things working .

8-9 years . It's an Oyster brand . A little maintence on these things go "along" way . The dish folds down and covers base when not in use ., I use graphite grease so if it dries . It still lubes ..
