no juice in battery last night in Travelhome. Lights flickering and gauge on zero. Humming from regulator in boot like an alarm sound. Next morning battery charging and needle almost off the scale within about an hour of daylight. We have 2 solar panels fitted on roof by caravan and camping megastore midland about 18 months ago. Seems they fitted the wrong sort of regulator which allowed too much charge into batteries and split them. $1034 for 2 new batteries and new regulator. Sun City Solar in Geraldton were brilliant.
Wrong type of regulator for the batteries, it was supposed to be for liquid batteries or something. Anyway it burnt ours out and one of them was cracked and split.
