What do you need?
There are low cost camps at Rapid Bay (on the foreshore, recommended), Deep Creek Conservation Park (bush, recommended) and Waitpinga (foreshore, salmon fishing beach).
All have toilets and water except Rapid Bay, but they have showers.
Victor is "tourist central" and there will only be caravan parks.

Cheers,
peter

Thanks Peter What were looking for is somewhere that's close to victor harbor ,free camp or C/P does not matter so-much as where fully self contained.

What matters the most is that our Van is secure when we leave it . so maybe a reasonably priced C /P ?would be the answer...

Ron..

P/s thanks the areas you have given might be well worth a look then we can judge how secure we feel leaving our Rig..

hi There     Victor Harbor Beachfront C/P  08 85521111  is a good clean park, good facilities and reasonably priced. It does have a jumping pillow but at this time of year there will not be many kids about so you should have no hassles having a bounce. Well situated and about a ten minute walk to the main precinct and granite Island. I would be reluctant to leave my van especially at Waitpinga and Rapid Bay As for Deep Creek it is more of a camping area and am not too sure as to the suitability of a caravan Deep Creek well worth the visit to enjoy walking and scenery. Hope this helps Daz ( Sth Aussie}

We have booked a caravan park in Adelaide for two nights, so we can have a good look at the city,and then onto Rapid bay ..

Port Elliot showgrounds and a church ground in Wattle Dr are places to camp. Check them out.
