Woodford, burnett hway, woolooga, maryborough qld

hi everyone, needing some help. We are going to maryborough and do not want to go up the bruce hway. Thinking of inland But not sure if past the burnett highway through woolooga then to bauple and onto maryborough is ok to drive with a 25foot van. Does anyone know or even woodford, kenilworth to gympie but don.t know about that way either. Anyone know. Thanks. Rocket n strop

Best way is down from Kilcoy & hit the Bruce Hwy near Caboolture & then it is an easy drive to Maryborough area. Alice

Plenty of Rigs use the route inland.

Yarraman Blackbutt Nanango Goomeri. Then a choice to rejoin the Bruce Highway by going via Kilkivan or heading on the Woolooga to Bauple road and joining the Bruce 15k's south of Tiaro. I travelled the route over the Easter Weekend and plenty of rigs and MH's use that route.

I have a 27' Motorhome weighing 8 tons and find no problems. Going North you have a short steep climb over the Bunyip range but as the speed limit is 60 K's for all it's not too bad. Millions were spent rebuilding the road in the last few years and the bends are all easy to take.

Fuel prices were not too bad either, and there are a few half decent roadhouses on the route. Enjoy the trip whichever route you decide.
