The Ere Peninsula recomendations

Were heading to South Australia tomorrow on a two months trip fron our home on the south coast of nsw, we're trying to figure out where to stay on the Eyre Peninsula.

We have two spots we are thinking about staying at Haslam Camp ground and Cleve Yeldnucke weir? Is there any other spots on the Eyre peninsula to fill in the gaps between these two areas that would be nice to camp Your advice would be much appreciated.

Ron

We stayed at all of these .. http://www.stayz.com.au/accommodation/sa/eyre-peninsula?gclid=CIuY_7ippMwCFVh5vQodtNwCaw  The fish there is some of the BEST In the world .. That includes NZ, Canada ..

Port Lincoln - camp at Billy Brights Boatramp - go to Visitors Info Centre for details etc. Had a great time there over the Tunarama festival.

Haslam Beach is terrific.

Pildappa Rock outside Minnipa is a nice donation camp with toilet and bbq.

Port Bonython at Whyalla is a low cost camp near Stony Point, and there are camp spots down along Fitzgerald Bay.

Nice caravan park at Streaky Bay.

Better still - stay in Minnipa at the Free Camp on the east side of the town.  Then do a tour of the 3 rock formations.

Good clean toilets.

If you like CP's, then Tumby bay and Elliston are great spots to while away a few days or a week or more, we love Streaky bay too but only out of season when the school holiday minions have departed and sanity returns.
Coffin bay oysters take some beating.

Little cafe on seafront in Tumby do local King George whiting, chips and salad $10, top tucker for a lunch time. Top Tourist CP do the same at teatime but stop serving at 5-45pm.
