Hi, one of our permanents is having difficulty figuring out how to replace the outside globe on her outdoor light? She said she unscrewed the cover but could not get to teh bulb, it was still behind a sheet of plastic? Any helpful ideas would be appreciated?

Don't have that brand but guessing that the plastic cover will be clipped in and needs springing out. A photo would be useful as I am sure that it will be one of the standard lights.
Does the' Labcraft' piece where the wires enter lever up??, can't tell if it is a single piece molding or not. Might help with a photo of front side as well.
Could try google with the Labcraft model number as another option. Sorry can't help more at the moment

I got a printout about the light, it seems to say that there is a special clip and o ring arrangement to get the front bit off. I am too scared to force it as it's not my light.

Fair snuff - I tried to find a video but had no luck, although it was a very quick look. Guess other option is to try and find contact details for LaABCRAFT.
I've converted a few of these types of lights over to LED for a few people over the past couple of years. The cover comes off from the front, you need to use a small blade screwdriver to gently pry it off. If the fitting is old or has yellowed then it may be very brittle, so lots of care needs to be taken so you don't crack the cover or damage the lugs. If you shine a strong light (torch) around the edges you can some times see the notches where its held into the main body. Knowing where the notches are helps as you need to gently pry the cover lugs out from either side of the notches.
