The birdsville track.

Hi Team,, Nearly done it in a van in1975 but the rains beat me, so here i am contemplating it again in a van 40yrs later. Am i OLD and crazy or just CRAZY.. Going back to the Cape for another look, and thought i'd kill two birds with the proverbial..Mind you have heaps of time in the northern dry and am not in a hurry... So is it doable in a 6mtr rig behind a4x4...Could stay on the black top with the van, but it does behave nicely on gravel so what's your thoughts..  Lyndhurst to Longreachconfuse

Good weather! Drive to conditions lower Your tyre pressure & speed, should be okay.

Wet weather! Drive on the black stuff.

Mike.
