Well I did a trip over Easter up to Noosa for a wedding ,from Geelong to Goondiwindi 7.7 litres per 100km and from there to Noosa 7.8 ,from Noosa back to Geelong with two extra people 4 adults all up and car fully loaded  and two large suitcases 7.9 litres per 100km, that was at  mostly110km p/h, that was in my new Isuzu MU-X LST car only I was very happy with the fuel usage, just hope when the van is on the back I get a good resault as well.

Nice vehicle Olley. Ive got a DMax - the second cousin of yours.

Another member complained earlier in the year that the MUX sagged in the back with his caravan - you can probably find the thread in the search function and look for MUX.

Just be careful not to modify the suspension while its in its 5 year warranty period. If you have any suspension or associated problems and make a warranty claim, Isuzu will not accept for your claim. I had a very minor issue with my front suspension (took about 15 minutes for the Dealer to clean out the dust), but the 1st question they asked when I went into them was "have you modified your suspension, because if you have, the warranty is void"

That is a bit odd Bruce. I am about to get a suspension upgrade on my 2014 D Max. I spoke with the dealer from where I purchased my D Max and they referred me to Pedders and informed me that their upgrade was approved.

Being the sceptic that I am, I went online to the Pedders site and there you are, it says it there too. Finally. I checked with Isuzu. The only qualifier is if the Pedders suspension is faulty, it is Pedders problem.

In any event, if the engine blew up they can't void a warranty because the suspension is upgraded.

I have just been reading about suspension change on the Isuzu MUX,on a nother sight, from what they are saying Isuzu recommend if you need to change your suspension they  recomend Pedders and your warranty will not be void, they are talking about lift kits,so i suspect any  alteration won't void your warranty provided Pedders do the job.
