With three people I would recommend an Iveco Daily if you are looking at anything over 25ft. I have a 27ft Ultima and have to be very careful with weight, not impossible but an extra person and their luggage may just tip you over the limit. Check out my blog entry from Feb 15th

We have a 24 ft trail blazer on an 2005 4.2 turbo diesel patrol when loaded ready to go with full water tanks and assorted gear we are still 300 kg under our limit good reliable unit we are happy with it, as Chris61 said the Iveco has a sterling reputation and would suit 3 people better than a patrol especially if all adults, have a mate with on his 5th wheeler and loves it and much better fuel economy that his v6 navara he has a truelux fifth wheeler and cannot speak highly enough about it they are made in Melbourne if I were looking to have one built I would defiantly be talking to them

Gooday,

I would suggest you have look at Winjana, built in Australia,Toowoomba, think they make a very sound product and you may be able to get your changes/requirements satisfied there.

Have no affiliation with this Company or Products associated with them.

Just wondering if you got all the info you wanted re the fifth wheelers. I did much research into the purchase of a fifth wheeler. I also have a snippet of news re manufacturers, that if you are interested in send me a pm.
There was a lot of basic info you did not provide in your enquiry, so I didn't contribute. But if you want to pick up some of the info I collected, I'm quite happy to oblige.
