A true legend of real country music. He is missed already! Thank God we still have his music. I sure can't stand this crap ( country/ rap) that is around today! So m any of these wonderful artists are leaving us far too soon lately. R.I.P Merle........reunited with his old mate Possum.......What beautiful music in heaven today.

I sang "Today I started loving you again" at our Open Mic afternoon last week. Merle wrote that in less than an hour. He was also one of the lucky legends that kept a great singing voice, as good as when he was young.
