Road conditions Cape York

I am leaving for the tip in May and should arrive there mid June. Has anybody been up at that time of year and has anybody taken a caravan to the top at anytime.

Grey fox. I thought that might be the case even though some say they have seen Jayco vans up the top. I think I will be leaving the van and hiring a camper trailer for a few weeks

Plenty of caravans go to Cape York.
It is simply another long, gravel road, whose condition varies with the weather the grader and the traffic.

Cheers,
Peter
