We are currently traveling to Lake Macquarie to visit relative in hospital, just wanted some advice on a good caravan park to stay at around that area, I have read a few reviews on some parks in the vicinity but not very good reviews ? We would like to stay somewhere that is clean & safe ?? Any recommendations would be appreciate.
Lake Mac covers a big area but if your on the Eastern side any of the council parks, Belmont Pines, Swansea Gardens or Blacksmiths are good.
Fees will be steep over Easter but after that you get pensioner discounts.
If you are on a budget maybe look at Morisset Show ground.

Hi, thanks, we booked into Belmont lakeside caravan park, beautiful spot, nice & quite very clean, friendly staff. Close to Lake Macquarie Private hospital.

A couple of years ago while passing through Kempsie my wife needed medical attention and after 1 day in hospital there, they transferred her to Port Macquarie hospital..
While she was in Port Macquarie I was allowed to stay in our motor home parked at the bottom of the car park.
