Met some Grey Nomads

gregnshaz.png

Sitting outside this afternoon at Caboolture Showgrounds, a couple came and said Hi Billy, Hi Jules - turns out to be "gregnshaz", long time members (2013) but also lurkers!!!!!!  Lovely couple, just starting out on the journey.  Billy was amazed they remembered him, he hasn't been on the forum for over a year!

Well, there I was rounding the amenities block, looked up and there they were, the legends of the Grey Nomad forum, Billeeee and Jules, I quickly scurried back to the van and said to Shas, come meet some heroes of mine. Thanks guy's you were just as I imagined you would be especially Billy, I followed his great sense of humour for quite some time on this forum. Just as you would have expected, welcomed with open arms. Safe travels and I hope we meet up again, next time we will have more time to share stories.
Cheers
Greg and Shas

Hi DM - I remember Ann and Geoff in Tassie - think they were the people stuck getting off the boat, when Yeoeleven's little Hi Ace wouldn't get up the ramp, and all vehicles had to back back!!!!

We are only here two days, yesterday and today, so won't get a chance to see them, though we may be back this way later in the year.  Say hi to them for us.

We had some other visitors today - Geoff and Anne - Geoff is Dumowin's brother, and we met them in Tassy in 2013. Lovely couple, good to see them again.

Greg and Shaz came over tonight to have a drink, before they leave tomorrow - had a great chat about all sorts of things. Wish them and Geoff and Anne happy and safe travels.do it now.jpg

Got back from shopping, put the car on the trailer, was relaxing awning, two people in a 4wd turned into our spot - thought to myself, I know those faces - Yes Geoff and Anne came to visit - luckily we were home, had a good chat for an hour or so - very enjoyable, and a few laughs.  Hope to see them on the road somewhere!
