greenhill lake ararat

Stayed at greenhill lake over the long weekend been there a few times $5 a night great place to visit and find a quiet spot were a few people there mostly parked next to the toilets ! and hope that one day it will have water ........ but can imagine the place would have been packed if that was the case ... one of our favourite spots along with Hopetoun lake Lascelles . we drove to lake Lonsdale as was supposed to be free camping but saw signs saying otherwise !

Anyone know the last time greenhill had water ?

We were ther a few weeks ago. Even without water it was a lovely spot. We did the historical self guided walk up the main street and really enjoyed it. My favourite the J ward psychiatric jail. It was a great tour.
