List of Drinking Water Sites in All States

I sent a WA list in I digress to an overseas friend of mine who is travelling around Oz (currently on the Nullabor) and they asked if there is a National list of these water refill points similar.

My advice was to enquire at Tourist Info centres when passing through towns (and of course you would ask other travellers).

Is there any such list around?  (seem to be some for dump points and toilets etc, but what about water) ?

If they get desparate on the nullabor, they could buy bags of ice (the frozen stuff) put it into some containers to thaw and then you have drinking water.  I worked at Baladonia Roadhouse in the early 80's and learned that they truck in water to make the ice because the bore water stuffs up the ice machines.

Get him to then click on Lists & links  then Water, this will bring up all available water sauces through-out all States.

there is also lists for Dump Points, Laundries, Showers and many more useful hints.

That is a great link but the water one only has points in NSW and WA at the present time.  Not sure who is doing the site but hopefully more states will come on line.

 G'day Barbandaz,  I've just checked that site and you're dead right, being only worried about water supply here in the West, I hadn't worried about the other States, I had actually taken it for granted that they were available,

I'll get in touch with the People who control that site and see if they can add all the States.
