Job done Rocky.

People that steel other people's property are low life's for sure. Bring back stoning in public or the whip.

it always amazes me that most boat people and some RV owners leave their vehicle parked on the front lawn facing outwards with no locking devices at all, just begging for them to be stolen. Some streets you drive down (especially the wealthier ones and near the sea) makes it difficult to decide which one to pinch - and theyre so easy to re-birth !

I lived in Wynnum when I was a young guy in short pants. Now I'm an old guy in short pants !!! Wynnum and surrounding bayside areas always had a high crime rate, however the advice given by the Police covers all areas, should be heeded. Even here in Launceston, Tassie, the number of caravans I see parked in front yards and on nature strips outside homes, never ceases to amaze me that a larger number are not stolen. Perhaps the residents here are too honest, which is one of the reasons I moved here, BUT, times are a changing !!!

If you stole a caravan or boat in Tassie, where are you going to hide it?

Many years ago I asked the police why nobody locked their cars? His answer was that above, plus he also pointed out that the first place they keep an eye out is on the loading of The Spirit.

Cars do get stolen and trashed however, but caravans?

But then again you do live in the north.biggrin
