Just reaching out to all you nomads travelling north from Mackay in the next few weeks and west from Townsville after that. Tracey and Dexter (her small dog) who is "ONEWOMANWANDERING" is walking her way around Australia to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute who have lost $50,000 in funds from the government. They not only research, but treat mental illness such as depression and bipolar disorders. Please if you come across her offer water and maybe a donation as she is camping along the way- no hotels or luxury accomm. I know a few have commented that she should not be on the road, but you all should be sympathetic as many motorists and truckies don't think we ( caravaners ) should be on the road either.
Hi Kim. I hope Tracey, and Dexter, both go well and enjoy their adventure and raise heaps of money - as well as get support from passerbys and local people and businesses you visits on this very well worthwhile fund raising.
