Thanks for responding. Repair at this point is the last resort. Sump has been banged around a bit and has some corrosion. Would prefer to replace it if we can source one. Not holding my breath!
Where are you ? I re- fabricate sumps all the time . Mainly making them deeper or changing shape on engine / turbo conversion .. Just be aware of oil pick up clearance ..
