Brunswick Heads is a magnificent area as is all that coast. It is also costly. Not sure of best CVP sorry but they looked busy as when I visited the area about April 2014.  Fishing should be ok in the river or maybe beach fishing on the ocean side of things.

Gday...

While ya waitin' for someone to give ya the gen ... have a gander at this site .... keep it for future reference as well praps.

http://myparklist.com/default.asp

If ya go to the "Caravan Parks" tab, you will get a cuppla choices on how to search for info.

This is what comes up for Brunswick Heads. Check the Badgers Reports Site for comments on park conditions made by travellers.

Lynn and i stayed at The Jetty C/P, it was very clean, on the river, reasonably priced, it is by the h/way but if you go up the back you can hardly hear it. There is also so a couple more c/p there as well which is owned by a different person. Safe travels, cheers reg

Papou hi

I am not a fan of the area for a couple of reason, They have a habit wanting more of my money then I think there, they want me to stay longer then I need.

Now I would subjest to you to look back south Iluka, Yamba both can be really good fishing black fish at the right time bream are caught regularly.

The parks are a better priced saying that it couple of years so needs to be checked.

The river here is the Clarence River is huge where as at Brunswich Heads its much smaller.

Good luck with your choicers.

Radar, i plan Yamba & Iluka as part of the stay down that way:), did so last year and fell in love with the area..Dont mind paying the extra $$ if it puts me adjascent to the water :).. A motel room akin to this would cost a hell of a lot more i think and one reason for purchasing the Van.

Brunswick i didnt do last year hence my asking so i can put it into my agenda this year all going well n health prevailing:)...just want to chill out , relax n try get a fish for a feed in the process aswell as give my Camera a workout ...

Kind thanks for all the replies ey , really appreciate it i do...

Would love to bump into some of the gang some time along the way ey:)..

The three parks are all run by North Coast Holiday Parks. They are all excellent parks. Prices are highest next to the coffee strip (town centre) and get cheaper as you get further away. These parks are unusual in the chain as the weekend rates are higher than the week day rates, I used to use them on an a-occasional basis until they started this  differential rates lurk, I now stay at one of the Tweed Coast Parks when visiting friends up there (Pottsville North.)

The North Coast Parks chain have a loyalty card system (like the coffee cards.) You get the card stamped when you stay at a park and when you have run up 6 nights you get the next night free at that park.

You have a choice of Beach, Rock and river fishing at Brunswick but I can not vouch for the quality of the fishing.

WE were disappointed with Brunswick Heads...didn't really feel welcome. Pretty place but I don't think it's MH friendly.
