So Jim takes Two and pays $60.00  ( Cause Bruce said to get two)  Gets the receipt And Questions the lassie (But their advertised in your catalogue @$24.99)smilesmile. Up comes the store manager, go's check's the price.

We Wait........... And We wait...........Off she go's to her little office............ And We Wait............ Back she comes........... Sorry about the Wait.... The Wait We could have gone and had a Coffee while we Waited......

Now Jim's getting excited. She enters a few taps on the register and BINGO the till POP"S open. Sorry about that Sir, Here's your MONEY $10.00 What don't ALDI have the same Policy as Woolies NOPE.

The Woolies policy says you only get the 1st item free if under $50. See scanning code practice below:
The Code of Practice covers all scanned merchandise within a store. This includes items registered using the PLU ("Price Look Up") number.

The Code does not cover:

Liquor products
Tobacco products
Items which do not have a barcode or PLU number
Items where the shelf price is $50 or greater
The Item Free policy

If the price displayed at the checkout or on the customer receipts is higher than the shelf price, the customer is entitled to receive that item free of charge.

The Shelf Price is the price of an individual item that appears on a shelf label or shelf price label.

The Shelf Label or Shelf Price Label means the sign or label showing the price of individual items at the place where the product is displayed for sale to the customer.

The Item Free policy does NOT cover goods that are "item priced".
The Item Free policy does NOT cover goods where the shelf price is $50 or greater.

The Multiple Purchase Policy
Where multiple items bearing identical bar codes, or the same PLU number, are scanned and the scanned price is higher that the shelf price, the customer is entitled to receive the first item free of charge and the remaining items at the lower price (that is, the shelf price).

Good Luck.

Hi Hako,

 I know I Know,

Just trying to average down.

Have been hit by Woollies so many times they want to give me a job in quality control. Once I brought 4 lemons. when I got home I checked the docket as I through  it T/C a bit high.

Highway robbery. They rang up 44 Lemons  Extra $22 smacko's. on another occasion I brought a 1kg can of milo in my order, checked my docket on the other side of the register charged for two cans @$11 smacko's.

These days, I now do it myself.

I give as good as I get. Keep the bastards honest.

Jim

The most amazing thing is: incorrect pricing is rarely the customer's way...invariably their way.......you have to find 'their' error to claim.......that's really no policy .........Hoo Roo
