Address How do you full timers deal with no address, do you have a PO Box, do you do everything online. Can you have a PO Box for banks, tax dept, and insurance? Can you get things bought online delivered to a PO Box.
Go Via Do you guys have the Go Via device, do you really need it and do they have toll roads in the outback?
Joining State Forest and Clubs
Are there any essential organizations or clubs that you belong to in order to help with camp sites, breakdowns, or anything else associated with nomad life?
Oh yeah odometer on vehicles how much is too much, I personally think that anything over 100,000 km is too much, but how much is a safe amount for a motor home?
Thanks again over and out from the dreaded suburbs.

You can get a lot of info using your search button at the top of this page.
As for your mode of transport. modern motor cars, motor homes ect:, are VERY reliable if you oil them ( Every 5000km with oil filter). I have used our last 4x4 for 15 years with out a problem = 455,000km on the clock. The usual replacement parts break pads / dis rotors/ tyres are par for the couse. The boys and girls will fill you with the rest.

To answer your questions one at a time from my point of view
I use my daughter's address for mail, but most comes on line these days. Daughter photocopies letter, bill etc and txts it to me.
Buying something online I have had them sent to the nearest POffice. Get the sender to write on it "Hold for puck up"
No toll roads in the outback. I avoid cities like the plague.
I have Wikicamps on my phone and Camps 7. Seems to be enough for me.
I have RACV for vehicle and Road Side Assist.
100,000 ks would be a fairly new vehicle in my opinion. I bought my van at 87,000, now about 140,000. Still like new.
I didn't know you could get stuff posted to the post office, that could work well.
Well then I guess go via can get lost.
I am not sure whether I will miss the city once I leave it, if I did miss it I could avoid the toll roads right. Lets face it you can always go the long way around, who's in a hurry anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!

We do as much as possible online. For mail, we have a PO box near my sister-in-law in NSW, she forwards our mail on the rare occassion we get something (usually insurance/ATO paperwork).

You should be able to get 500,000 km out of your average diesel (Hilux, Ranger, Isuzu ect)
Just keep the service up as per log book. Diesel secret clean air clean fuel clean oil no brainer.
Our two Western star B doubles used for livestock and general freight come with 100000km warranty.
But then the cost of them well. If you are full time on the road why do you need to buy online, just creates problems.
We don't get bill sent to us in the post , We get bill email and have direct debit set up through our bank , Just have to go online to kept a check , With GOVia we have a automatic top up through our bank , All has work great so far .
I am with you on the diesel engine. Best case scenario so far a Toyota coaster bus automatic diesel.
I do a lot of online banking, so I guess bills won't be a problem.
I guess only having a small house and traveling all the time would make online purchasing a waste of time.
