It's a pity that you are too late to meet the resident donkey in the town caravan park. Fuzzy died a short while back.
He used to come to my caravan for an apple or carrot for breakfast each morning.
Some years ago he used to roam the town eating geraniums and such from front yards. He had an entourage consisting of a decrepit goat and a gaggle of guinea fowl. Apparently it was a sight to see.
Still there is plenty to see and do at Wyndham. I spent 5 weeks there a couple of years ago.
The best beef and burgundy pies are made at 5 rivers cafe' - last year there were some French backpackers working there - big beefy pies that really hit the spot.
