Lokking for Trailcraft compliance plate

Does anyone know where on a Trailcraft Panorama 540 van the compliance plate should be?

I have searched throughout and nada!

There ARE four bolts arranged in a rectangle inside the A-frame and doing nothing whatsoever. But I have dismissed those as they are way more than would be needed for attaching a non load bearing plate.

Any ideas? Anyone have a Trailcraft who can locate theirs?

G'day Colinoldcranky,

We have one of those - I'll have a look tonight when I am home from work and let you know.  May be in the boot but I thought they were usually rivitted in place.

Catch ya later

Pete

My previous van was a Trailstar, one of the first off the production by the old Trailcraft factory, it was in the front boot sort of staring you in the face when looking at the bulkhead wall.

Got home and had a look - On the A frame right up near the hitch, drivers side.  I'll get a photo if you need one.

Thanks CadPete. Looks like mine's gone walkabout.

The ATM should be on the licence papers which I'll check. And I know what the Tare is from weighbridge.

Where am I? I'm in Perth, southern suburbs. If you've ever seen a baldish guy with a white beard HulkHogan style pedaling somewhere on a unicycle that'd be me.

Wrong side of the river Colinoldcranky, we are in Bayswater.  Feel free to come over if you need to check anything though, although we both are still working.  Just send a pm a day or two before to get our address.  I must admit that Maz and I are total novices however as far as the caravan goes, only 2 sleeps in a year!

Be careful if you are missing the compliance plate, as that I feel makes the vehicle unroadworthy in the eys of the law - may beed to check that.  May be in the boot as banjo stated as they can be updated/moved.

Thanks Pete. Might do that if the need arises.

Otherwise if you are ever about in your van and you see an oldish guy close cut/shaven/bald with a Hulk Hogan 'stache toting a unicycle on the back of his van - there can't be too manybiggrin - give me a shout.
