1. The program that comes on the included disc (Blackview)

Thanks in anticipation

Hi Mark. I'm not familiar with the Gator brand, but I see Super Cheap Autos appear to be the master distributor of the brand.
Theyre a helpful lot and if no-one else here can help you, I suggest you go into a local Super Cheap or email them - they have a support service for their products so should be able to help you out
Good Luck !!

Hi Hurls, I don't have a dashcam like yours, but just a couple of questions.
Have you tried using another sim card (don't forget to format the card in the camera)? When you insert the sim into your computer, do you see the video files when you open it up in file explorer? They are .mov files according to your manual. Can you play the files on another media player, like Windows Media Player (if you have Windows) or VLC if you have it?. They require QuickTime for Windows installed, to play them on a windows machine.

The manual states that you can play back the recorded information over a USB link. When you attach the USB cable to your PC, you will see a menu with 3 options. You need to select "MSC" (= Mass Storage Controller ?)
Allow you access the DVRs storage of both the SD card and the internally memory [NAND Flash]. This mode will allow you to copy video and photo files over to your computer.
The camera should then appear in Windows Explorer as another hard drive, and you should be able to navigate through the files and folders like a regular storage device.
