BAD ACCIDENT IN TASMANIA

Just saw on the news where a truck ran into a Jayco Motor Home. Didn't get all details. The MH is from NSW, the male driver is dead and female passenger in Hospital.  Hopefully it's not one of our members. Whether GNs or not, still a sad affair. Maybe others might have more up to date news. I'll check local Newspapers tomorrow morning and make another post if there is further news. Just found the story online. Here is the link:

Certainly hope it was not someone we know from the forum - sad for the lady left behind and the man's family - and the truck driver would be devastated!

Unfortunately it is someone I know reasonably well. The couple are well respected and long time CMCA members and active in the Highway Wanderers Chapter. I do not think they are members here though.

The couple lived/live at Casino Lifestyle village which is part of the BIG4 caravan park.

Our deepest condolences go to the lady and the family of the gentlemen
For something like this there is nothing what what the man could have done to survive this accident
A mate of us got killed in a similar way when a trailer came loose from a car and hit his bike with side car head on
you've got not even time to count to ten
