its all the independents doing these prices and not Coles, Woolworths, Caltex or BP - and they've got the buying power to be even cheaper than the little guys
You reckon they will come honest ?????? - yep, I believe in the tooth fairy too !!!

have another quick gander Bruce ... BP roadhouse at Coolup is the first one mentioned.
However, whilst that is a 'name' fuel company rather than an 'independent' - those prices are not universal throughout their stations. Perhaps whilst it is a BP Roadhouse, it is only a 'franchise' and the 'independent' owner of the roadhouse is using his 'marketing power'.
ALL fuel retailers use "loss marketing" from time to time at selected servos to have lower/lowest prices.
The whole fuel game is a bloody racket.
cheers - John

The placid ark is always the cheapest deisel in perth.
It's a privatley owned franchise and operate on a volume of sales principle .
For years they have had a huge truckie customer base to because tbey retail their deisel for the same price trucking companies can buy it in bulk for .
The only trouble for truckies using it is all the bloody caravaners trying to use the hi flow pumps

Both Coolup 100ks south of Perth and Waroona ...even further on the southwest highway would be getting a little extra traffic from the fires so good on em for dropping the prices.....bit hard to get excited however they are nowhere near Perth and wont get an influx of people chasing cheaper diesel.
They are generally cheaper on that highway throughout the year for those planning trips to southwest lots more to see and do if you are enjoying our playground...... Far better .....unless you are in a hurry to get to Bunbury. Then you use the speedway....oops freway

a week ago the servo on Yanchep Beach Rd (which is about half way between Wanneroo Rd and Yanchep township) was still selling diesel for $107.9 - seems to be a long running price for this little outlet and he pulls the customers
